Noel Jantzie
Noel is currently in his second year as an on-line Social Studies teacher at the Calgary Board of Education virtual school, Cbe-Learn. He also spends a considerable amount of time carrying out the duties of Calgary District Representative on the ATA's Executive Council. Previously he spent four years as President of the Calgary Public ATA Local #38. Before that he was network administrator and Curriculum Leader in Technology at James Fowler High School. He is a former Teacher-Leader with 2Learn.ca and a former recipient of the council's Innovative Computing award for helping to develop an online political simulation back in the days of bulletin boards and fidonet. He has a doctorate in educational technology from the University of Calgary and is periodically persuaded to teach quantitative research methods to unsuspecting graduate students. In his spare time he is past-president of the Global, Environmental and Outdoor Education Council.
