Professional Activities

Offers an outstanding annual conference.

• Encourages and assists the establishment of Regional Councils.
• Promotes inservices throughout the province.
• Suggests resource personnel to fill requests from conventions, regionals, and local workshops.

Publications

• ETCATA Newsletter... keeps teachers informed of Council activities and concerns. As well, the newsletter provides useful ideas for computer integration.
• Software Programs... offered periodically at no extra cost to members

Innovative Computer Project Grants offered to members in support of action research projects involving computer technology in education.

Membership and Fees 

Membership is open to:

• members of the ATA or non-members covered by The Teachers’ Retirement Fund;
• certified teachers in private schools;
• staff members and students of the Alberta Universities, NAIT, SAIT, junior colleges and Department of Education.

Membership in the Provincial Council provides opportunities for you to belong to the regional council in your area at no additional cost.
